Spring Chinook Salmon There is no better fighting or eating fish than the spring Chinook salmon. "Springers" return from the ocean to the river from Mid-April until the end of July. Fall Chinook and Coho Salmon In recent years, the number of Fall-run Chinook and Coho salmon has increased dramatically, which provides excellent fishing from late August through mid-November.   2011 Pricing: The Rogue River fishing outfitters that we recommend are generally charging $300 per boat for a ½ day fishing trip or $400 per boat for a full day fishing trip.   You’ll need to provide: fishing license/tags (you can purchase these in the Galice Store), rain gear or sunscreen, and your lunch/beverage (you can also purchase these items at the Store).
